A few simple rules to keep children, families, and Gucci safe, comfortable, and happy.

  1. Adult supervision is required
A parent, guardian, or responsible adult must remain present throughout the entire visit.

  2. Gentle hands only
Children must be supervised and reminded to treat Gucci gently. No pulling her tail, ears, or fur, chasing, squeezing, hitting, or rough play.

  3. Gucci chooses the interaction
Children can invite Gucci to play or interact, but she should never be forced to hold, cuddle, or touch. If Gucci wants space, she gets space.

  4. No picking up Gucci without permission
Children may not pick up Gucci unless specifically permitted and supervised by the PurrPanion representative.

  5. No food or treats without approval
Guests should not feed Gucci anything unless it has been specifically provided or approved by PurrPanion.

  6. Other pets
Please let us know in advance if there are other animals in the home. For the comfort and safety of everyone, we may ask that other pets remain in a separate room or area during the visit.

  7. A safe and suitable visit space
We prefer the visit to take place primarily in one designated room or safe area. The space should be free of dangerous objects, chemicals, toxic plants, and other potential hazards.

  8. Clean floor
The floor should be clean and free of small objects, toys, food, or other items that Gucci could pick up, chew, or accidentally swallow.

  9. Indoor visits only
Gucci must remain indoors throughout the entire visit. She must not be taken outside, even temporarily. Doors and windows should remain securely closed or safely protected.

  10. Clean hands
Children should wash their hands before and after interacting with Gucci.

  11. Comfort and well-being for everyone
The comfort and well-being of both the children and Gucci are important to us. If Gucci becomes tired, frightened, overstimulated, or uncomfortable, the interaction will be paused and she will be given time to rest. Likewise, if a child becomes uncomfortable or overwhelmed, the interaction should be paused or changed.

  12. Illness policy
Children or guests who are currently sick or experiencing a contagious illness should not participate in the visit. Please notify us in advance if someone in the household is unwell.

  13. Photography
Photos and videos are welcome during the visit, but no flash photography, loud sounds, or anything that could frighten or disturb Gucci.

  14. Special needs visits
For the Special Kids’ Furry Connection experience, parents or caregivers should provide relevant information about the child's needs, sensitivities, triggers, communication style, comfort level, and preferences before the visit. This helps us prepare appropriately and create a comfortable experience for both the child and Gucci.

  15. PurrPanion reserves the right to decline or stop a visit
If the environment or interaction is not safe or appropriate for the children or Gucci, PurrPanion may decline, pause, modify, or end the visit.
